Research Interests: Chemopreventive activity (e.g. antioxidant, anticarcinogenic, antimutagenic) of plant extracts, plant polyphenols and other phytochemical compounds. Anti-angiogenic activity of chemical compounds, natural and artificial, and cell signaling pathways involved. Physiological and biochemical role of human aldehyde dehydrogenases (ALDHs).
