Research Interests: His research interests focus on oxidative stress and antioxidant defense mechanisms, the evaluation of bioactive molecules and functional foods, nutrigenomics, and the application of biochemical biomarkers for personalized nutrition and metabolic health assessment. He is also involved in the design and implementation of clinical studies on functional foods, and in the development of innovative diagnostic services. In parallel, he promotes applied research and academic entrepreneurship through FoodOxys, a spin-off company of the University of Thessaly.
