Research Interests: Molecular diagnosis of cancer. Molecular mechanisms of anticancer potential of plant-derived compounds. Molecular mechanisms of resistance to anticancer drugs. Lipoprotein metabolism and atherosclerosis studies using in vitro and in vivo systems. Studies of stem cell biology towards potential use for cell-based therapies (especially muscle degenerating diseases).
