Learning outcomes
The “Anthropology of Education and Modern Pedagogical Trends” course aims at introducing students of the Biochemistry and Biotechnology Department to contemporary pedagogical approaches and directions, and also to their philosophical and anthropological underpinnings. The course further contributes to the students’ essential pedagogical education, in the sense that it enables students to perceive teaching not merely as a technique for the implementation of plans but, what is more, as a creative process of communicational interaction. Moreover, it cultivates the awareness of prospective Bioscience teachers to issues relating to the environment, the living world, bioethics and the social dimensions of education and science.
