Research Interests: Transcriptional regulation by the NF-kappa B transcription factor in immune and intestinal epithelial cells. Study for gene expression using high throughput approaches, such as RNA-, ChIp- and ATAC-sequencing. Study for the epigenetic modifications induced by environmental factors on gene expression and correlations with diseases, such as the inflammatory bowel disease and neurodegenerative Parkinson’s disease.
